My twin boys were born prematurely and we could not proceed with an 8th-day ceremony due to their weight not meeting safety standards.
In such an instance, one must wait for their child to meet the minimum safe-weight threshold.
We only discovered they had reached that point upon a routine checkup. This happened late in the afternoon and law dictates not to procrastinate uneccesarily and proceed posthaste on the day such a discovery is made.
